Dave Arcari brought his special brand of roots blues to the TRADtv Live Room in a rousing exclusive session for the channel.
The song he performs for us here is titled ‘MacPherson’s Lament’. It’s Dave’s arrangement of a Robert Burns song which he did as a commission on the Scottish Bard’s 300th anniversary. We think it’s a pretty stunning version of Burns, unlike anything we’ve heard before. Dave seems to take Burns and make it sound like Dylan without being derivative nor compromising the integrity of the original song.
