Robyn Stapleton performs My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose live at The Tolbooth (The Visit 2017)


Celebrated Scottish folk singer Robyn Stapleton performs the classic Robert Burns song ‘My Love Is Like A Red Red Rose’ live for an audience at The Tolbooth in Stirling. Robyn was awarded BBC Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2014 and has since released two albums to critical acclaim. In April 2017 TRADtv teamed up with Showcase Scotland Expo to capture exclusive performances at The Visit showcasing event. We filmed live traditional music sessions in Paisley (in Paisley Town Hall, Paisley Abbey and Paisley Arts Centre) and Stirling (in The Tolbooth).

The Showcase Scotland Expo team take delegates from North America to different parts of the country to soak up the history and culture and enjoy showcase performances by a selection of the most exciting contemporary traditional music artists in distinct and special venues.

  2. Since I saw Robyn Stapelton perform in Glasgow University on this year’s Burns Day, I am a huge fan. She has a divine voice and she looks like an angel, just makes me cry everytime I listen to her.
