With a mix of fiddle, accordions, pipes and whistles, alongside guitar and vocals, underpinned by driving bass, drums and keys, eight-piece Skerryvore represent the best in contemporary Scottish traditional music. Their six studio albums demonstrate the wide range of influences the individual musicians bring to the mix – a unique fusion of folk, trad, rock, Americana and jazz.

It’s on the road in front of a live audience that they really come into their own, though. Their live album, recorded at Scottish venues in late 2019 and due for release in 2020, will highlight this, whilst giving a hint that there’s much more to come for Skerryvore’s growing worldwide fanbase. Many of their 2020 bookings across the world are already rolling forward into 2021, though there are likely to be gaps. The band are already planning for 2022 returns to the USA and Canada, to Australia and, of course throughout UK and Europe.
