Late in 2016, through support from Creative Scotland, The Big Music Society commissioned the ten members of new pipe collective Tryst to each compose a new piece of music, reimagining the concept of Big Music for the 21st century. TRADtv caught up with the group at an intensive rehearsal retreat in rural Perthshire to hear from the band.
Tryst play Celtic Connections on Saturday 21 January 2017. Find out the details and buy tickets on the Celtic Connections website: http://bit.ly/trystceltic2017.
Tryst’s Celtic Connections show was made possible by support from Creative Scotland (www.creativescotland.com).
