Scottish Grade One Competitors, Johnstone Pipe Band step into the famous Glasgow Green arena to perform their March, Strathspey & Reels for an encapsulated international audience. The highly decorated Renfrewshire based pipe band are led to the World Pipe Band Championships 2024 stage by Pipe Major Donald MacKay and Lead Drummer Gavin Orr.
In August each year, thousands of people travel from all over the globe to Glasgow, Scotland for this esteemed event which features the world’s very best bagpipe bands performing in competition. TRADtv (alongside our parent company, Inner Ear) had the pleasure of providing live coverage on Day One of the competition and here is the 2024 MSR set in full from Johnstone Pipe Band.
