As part of our coverage of the 2024 World Pipe Band Championships and Piping Live! Festival in Glasgow, TRADtv spoke with members of New York’s Nassau County Police Emerald Society Pipe Band outside @nationalpipingcentre as they prepared to march down the famous Buchanan Street with their pipes and drums on full display.
The band also competed on Glasgow Green at the world-renowned event and here we speak with them about their preparations for the competition and what it takes to bring a whole pipe band (and it’s instruments!) from New York, USA to Glasgow, Scotland.
