As BBC Radio Scotland’s Young Traditional Musician of the Year in 2015, Claire has since been touring throughout the UK, Europe and New Zealand as a solo artist, as a duo with a guitarist, a trio with a fiddle player and also with a full band. Claire’s varied repertoire incorporates traditional, contemporary and original songs, as demonstrated on her albums Between River and Railway (“exquisite”, Songlines) and Those Who Roam (“highly engaging” The Scotsman), launched at Celtic Connections 2019.

In 2020 she was due to undertake a solo tour in Australia, a tour of China with her band, as well as various festivals and dates throughout the UK, which have now been postponed. She is currently working on dates and tours throughout 2021 and 2022, and towards her third album.
