One of Scotland’s most well-loved contemporary bagpipers and composers, John Mulhearn (Head of Piping Studies at The National Piping Centre) takes to the stage at Saint Luke’s in Glasgow to perform a powerful selection of songs from his 2020 album The Pipe Factory. This special one off performance was part of the Closing Concert at the world-famous Piping Live! Festival, held in Glasgow in August of each year as an international celebration of bagpipe music in all its forms.
John Mulhearn’s critically acclaimed ‘The Pipe Factory’ album is a progressive, innovative take on bagpipe music, blending electronic sounds, experimental percussion and inspired bagpiping throughout.
