The eventual 2026 World Champions and the pride of Canadian bagpiping, Simon Fraser University Pipe Band, led by Pipe Major Alan Bevan, take to the centre circle of the Grade One Arena on Glasgow Green to perform their March, Strathspey and Reels set for a worldwide audience on Day One of the highly anticipated World Pipe Band Championships competition 2026.
In August each year, tens of thousands of people travel from all corners of the world to Glasgow, Scotland for this esteemed event featuring the world’s top ranking bagpipe bands performing in competition.
